Quilters get together and put kits together for quilting by the general membership, (kits being available at each General Meeting). They also sort fabrics, sew kits together, hand quilt, tie quilt tops, prepare bindings for quilts, bind quilts, piece tops or machine quilt. There are lots of jobs that need to be done that do not require a lot of quilting knowledge. It’s a great place to practice your skills, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Quilters meet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. They do not meet in the months of July and August. Plan to bring a bag lunch with you (and your sewing machine if you can) and join us for a fun day of sewing.

If you are unable to join us in putting these charity quilts together, perhaps you might consider donating fabrics (100% cotton), thread, batting or even a baby quilt!
